PPC automation, step by step, in your own account
PpcAutomate does the weekly work a PPC agency does, for a flat monthly fee, and shows you every change it makes. Connect your ad account, define the outcome you want, and set the boundaries for action. The software handles recurring search term cleanup, bid and budget rules, monitoring, and reporting. Your targets guide the work, and the change log keeps it visible.

Connect Google Ads to manage campaigns with PpcAutomate. Growth and higher plans also support Microsoft Ads. Amazon Ads is included on Agency and Enterprise. Choose the plan that fits the platforms and accounts you manage before setting your rules.
For a first look, use the free one-time demo on the homepage. Upload a search terms CSV from Google Ads or Microsoft Ads. Your file is processed in your browser. The analysis shows search term patterns and proposed rules based on your report. Uploading a CSV does not authorize changes to a live account.
An owner can use the upload to understand the workflow. A PPC manager can use it to inspect how repeated words contribute to wasted spend before connecting campaigns.
Tell the software what a good result means
Choose target cost per acquisition, or CPA, when acquisition cost is your main constraint. Choose target return on ad spend, or ROAS, when conversion value guides decisions. Growth and higher plans include target CPA and ROAS pacing. Your target is a decision input, not a promised result.
Set a daily cap on the size of bid and budget changes. Define minimum data thresholds so a rule does not act on a handful of clicks. Use a lookback period that respects the time between an ad click and a recorded conversion.

- Set the campaigns or ad groups a rule covers.
- Define the evidence required before it acts.
- Keep daily adjustments within the limit you choose.
The bid and budget rules page explains pacing and how target adjustments work alongside Smart Bidding.
Choose Approve or Autopilot for each rule
Growth and higher plans let you choose a mode for each rule. In Approve mode, review a proposed change before it reaches your account. In Autopilot, the rule applies qualifying changes within its conditions and limits. Different rules can use different modes in the same workflow.
Keep a broader negative keyword rule in Approve while a narrower rule runs on Autopilot. This makes the decision depend on the reach of the change. An exact negative blocks a specific query, while a phrase negative can affect a wider set of searches.
The readable rule builder keeps conditions and actions understandable without custom code. Starter includes negative keyword autopilot and bid and budget rules. Choose Growth or higher when you need per-rule mode selection.

Daily work includes evaluating search terms against negative keyword conditions, checking bid and budget rules, and monitoring anomalies. Email alerts cover spend spikes, conversion drops, disapproved ads, and budget exhaustion. Slack alerts are included from Growth.
The negative keyword autopilot groups recurring words and phrases across search terms. Protection lists keep brand and converting terms out of exclusions. Growth also includes the ad copy test monitor, which flags losing responsive search ad assets for review.
The weekly account audit, included from Growth, checks structure, match types, tracking, waste, and account issues. Monthly reporting turns performance and activity into a scheduled summary. Agency and Enterprise add white label reports. Daily checks support action, weekly checks identify broader issues, and monthly reports support budget decisions.
See a negative keyword rule in plain words
Consider a business selling repair services that does not recruit technicians through its ads. Its search terms include repeated searches about job openings. The rule reads this way in plain words.
- 1 Look for a repeated phrase related to hiring within the selected search terms.
- 2 Require the chosen spend and click thresholds, with no recorded conversions in the review period.
- 3 Check the proposed exclusion against brand and converting term protection lists.
- 4 Add an exact negative for an isolated query, or propose a phrase negative when the broader exclusion is appropriate.
On Growth or higher, keep the phrase action in Approve until you are comfortable with its scope. A search with low volume stays below the evidence threshold. A protected converting term stays protected even when it contains the same words.
Read the change log and respond to alerts
Every applied change appears in the change log with its reason. Review what the rule changes and use one-click undo when you need to reverse it. Undo reverses the logged account change. It does not recover advertising spend or erase performance history.
An alert tells you when the account needs attention outside routine optimization. A conversion drop deserves a tracking check before a budget increase. A disapproved ad needs its policy issue addressed. A budget exhaustion alert helps you review pacing against the remaining month.
Compare plans and account limits before you connect. Starter costs $99/month or $49/month billed yearly at $588/year. Choose Growth for per-rule approval, target pacing, Slack alerts, and weekly audits. PpcAutomate is software, and you remain responsible for business goals and conversion quality.

Questions about the workflow
No. The one-time homepage demo processes your search terms CSV in your browser and shows analysis from that file. Live changes require a connected ad account and an automation rule that authorizes the action.
Yes. Growth and higher plans include Approve or Autopilot mode per rule. You can review wider changes before applying them while other rules run automatically within their conditions and limits.
Minimum data thresholds keep a rule from acting before its evidence requirements are met. Choose the lookback period and thresholds with your conversion delay in mind, especially when conversions arrive after the initial click.
Yes. The change log includes one-click undo for logged changes. Review the recorded action and reason before reversing it, and review the rule conditions if you want different decisions going forward.
